Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or legal guardian to create an account. Children may use the Service only through a profile created by their parent or guardian and under that adult's supervision and responsibility.

As the account owner, you are responsible for the family members you add, including confirming you have the authority to provide consent for your children's data (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for any rewards, allowances, or real-world arrangements you choose to make with your children based on coins earned in the app.

Coins in Katchingo are virtual and have no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred outside your family, or redeemed from Katchingo. The Service does not process real payments to children.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems;
• upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content; or
• interfere with or disrupt the Service.

Katchingo is currently free to use. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes that affect you.

You retain ownership of the content you and your family add (such as chore proof photos). You grant us a limited licence to store and display that content solely to operate the Service for your family.

You may delete child profiles or your entire family account at any time from the parent settings. Deletion removes the associated personal data from our active systems as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Katchingo is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
